mawa stands for lighting solutions beyond the standard. As one of the few German manufacturers, we still create true custom-made designs. For example, the world’s largest 360° display. A one-of-a-kind piece, developed, designed, produced, and assembled by mawa’s high-tech team.
Modern heritage
mawa’s 2025 gangkofner edition unites traditional glassmaking with modern lighting technology. Each luminaire is a statement of iconic mid-century design, crafted with handmade Czech glass. With its modular concept, the new gangkofner edition offers a wide range of customization and flexible design options.
Sustainable by design
Just outside Berlin, we manufacture luminaires and lighting systems that impress not only through technology but also through sustainability. Our designs are made to last – and for good reason: we rely on resource-efficient production processes and are constantly working to reduce our environmental footprint. For us, innovation also means becoming more sustainable with every step.
